Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Helicopter Return

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Helicopter Return is ideal for travelers who want adventure and comfort. It combines a classic Himalayan trek with a scenic helicopter flight back to Pokhara. This trip is perfect for those with limited time who still want a full mountain experience.

The journey starts from Pokhara and follows a popular trekking route. The trail passes through terraced farmland and dense forests. You will walk through beautiful Gurung villages such as Chhomrong, Bamboo, and Deurali. Along the way, you experience local culture and warm mountain hospitality. The trail offers stunning views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre.

The highlight of the trek is reaching Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 meters. The base camp sits in the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary. Massive snow-covered peaks surround the area. The scenery feels dramatic and peaceful at the same time. Sunrise at Annapurna Base Camp is unforgettable. The mountains glow as the first light hits the glaciers.

After enjoying the views at base camp, you return by helicopter. The helicopter flight from ABC to Pokhara is short but spectacular. You will see glaciers, deep valleys, and high alpine terrain from above. This flight saves two to three days of walking. It also reduces physical effort after the trek.

This trek is suitable for people with moderate fitness. No technical climbing is required. The best seasons are spring and autumn. During these months, the weather is stable and the views are clear. Teahouse accommodation is available throughout the trek. Experienced guides ensure safety and smooth travel.

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Helicopter Return offers the best of both worlds. You enjoy a rewarding trek and a comfortable return. It is a smart choice for trekkers who want adventure without extra days on the trai

Raju was efficient and helpful in booking our helicopter from Namche Bazaar to Kathmandu and our flight onto Pokhara. He was there in the morning to escort us and to carry a pack up to the helicopter pad. The flight was delayed, but he waited with us and was in contact with the company, checking on when the flight would arrive.

We decided to fly by helicopter from Namche Bazaar to Kathmandu. This avoided having to walk to Lukla and then having a long bumpy ride from Ramechhap airport back into Kathmandu. Also then we could get a flight from Kathmandu airport to Pokhara. All the arrangements were made by Easy Flight Travel. We were escorted up to the helipad and helped into the helicopter. I would definitely recommend Easy Flight Travel to anyone wanting to organise travel from Namche Bazaar
